Frequently asked questions

What is a Career Evidence Bank?

A permanent, private place to record your professional achievements as they happen: projects, problems solved, revenue or cost savings, performance gains, technologies, certifications, awards and leadership. When you write your next resume, you pick the evidence that fits the job instead of trying to remember years of work.

How is it different from writing notes or a brag document?

Every entry is structured (what you did, the result, the number, the skills and the dates) and is turned into a resume-ready bullet with a strength score. You can rank your evidence against any job description, insert it into the Resumebix builder in one click, export a brag document for appraisals, or share selected highlights with a link.

Why do numbers matter so much?

Recruiters skim a resume in seconds and stop at numbers: “reduced manual effort by 35%” is far more convincing than “responsible for process improvements”. The strength score checks for an action verb, a measurable result, no duty phrases, a readable length and the skills you used.

Is my evidence private?

Yes. Your Evidence Bank is visible only to you. If you turn on a Career Highlights page, only the entries you don't mark as private are shown, never your private notes, and you can turn the link off at any time — the old link stops working immediately.

What do I get for free?

A free account stores up to 15 pieces of evidence in one career profile, with bullet writing, strength scores, job-description ranking, builder insert and a shareable highlights page. Pro adds unlimited evidence, multiple career profiles (for example “Salesforce Developer” and “Product Manager”) and exports to CSV and a printable brag document.

How often should I add evidence?

The best habit is a two-minute entry at the end of every month or every project — while the numbers are fresh. Small wins add up to a much stronger resume, appraisal and interview stories.
