Frequently asked questions

How do I write a strong resume bullet point?

Start with an action verb, say what you did, and finish with a measurable result — for example “Automated promotion approvals with Apex and Flow, cutting approval time by 60%”. Keep it to one line or two, name the tools you used, and avoid duty phrases like “responsible for”.

What if I don't have exact numbers?

Use honest estimates and ranges you could explain in an interview: time saved per week, number of users or customers affected, team size, budget, or how many times something happened. A reasonable estimate (“about 20 hours a month”) is still far stronger than no number.

How is the strength score calculated?

The score is transparent: points for starting with an action verb, showing a measurable result, avoiding duty phrases and pronouns, staying between 10 and 32 words, and naming a skill or tool. Every check you miss comes with a specific fix.

Is this bullet point generator free?

Yes, completely free with no sign-up. Everything runs in your browser. Create a free account only if you want to save your bullets to your Career Evidence Bank and reuse them in future resumes.

Can I use these bullets on LinkedIn?

Yes. The same achievement-focused bullets work in your LinkedIn experience section, appraisal forms and cover letters.
